Hey LIX Chicks,

As you know by now, we have finalized the details for our first Dinner/Speaker Meeting with out and proud lesbian member of parliament, Libby Davies.

As promised, here is the dinner menu:

Appetizer
wild leek soup
Entree
option 1 (vegan) - fiddle head curry with beryani rice and salad, or
option 2 (vegetarian) - mousaka and salad

Dessert
Carolyn's special dessert plate: rhubard foole, a brownie, and a cardamom cookie
Beverages
juices, a wide selection of teas, coffee, mineral water

 

$25
which includes EVERYTHING...
appetizer, entree, beverages, dessert, tax and tip

Please call Marie (231-4347) or send her an email (mariemail2@sympatico.ca) by April 14th to let her know if you're having the Fiddlehead Curry or the Mousaka as an entree.

We are asking people to please arrive between 6:30 & 6:50pm. Dinner will begin shortly after 7:00pm. Libby Davies will speak at @ 8:30pm (followed by questions and answers)

The Pantry Vegetarian Tea Room at the Glebe Community Centre has ample parking and is wheelchair accessible.
