Important Announcement!

Hey LIX Chicks,

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the September LIX coffee meeting has been cancelled.  The Roasted Cherry Cafe unexpectedly closed their O'Connor Street location on August 24th.  We apologize for the inconvenience and we will contact you as soon as we have news of a new location for our meeting. 

If any of you know of a place that meets the following criteria, please contact us at info@girlswanttoknow.com:

• central location close to public transit
• large enough to hold 50 - 60 women
• preferably closed to the public in the evening and willing to open up for us (like The Roasted Cherry did) for FREE (they will make money on coffee, etc.)
• sells coffees, teas, juices, muffins, snacks, etc.

We feel hopeful that between the 265 LIX Chicks, we will be able to find a new 'home' for our beloved coffee meeting.  Please keep your eyes peeled gals.  If you see a place but don't feel comfortable to check it out yourself, just email us the information and we'll do the detective work!  Thanks everyone!
