Hey LIX Chicks!

Hope you're all enjoying the fabulous weather!  And speaking of fabulous weather, we've been approached by Rob from the Roasted Cherry to see if we'd be interested in having a LIX BBQ before our coffee meeting on Tuesday (June 5th).  Here's the scoop.
 
The Roasted Cherry is trying to fundraise for their Honduras student-exchange program.  Rob thought it might be fun to organize a combination fundraising event/LIX BBQ on Tuesday.  His plan is to have a tent erected in the parking lot beside the Roasted Cherry, play some music, create some energy and offer a $5.00 BBQ prior to our meeting for those women wishing to come in early. 

This will be a special party just for LIX Chicks (and any new women who were planning to attend our coffee meeting).  It starts at 5:30 pm. and runs until just before 7:00 when we will gather inside for our meeting.  For $5.00, you will get your choice of burgers, various tasty sausages or a veggie alternative AND your beverages. 

Sounds like a good deal to me!  I know that an increasing number of you have been getting to The Roasted Cherry early to have dinner anyway (because the food is so fantastic!)  So on Tuesday I hope to see many of you at 5:30 in the parking lot!  Let's have an outdoor 'dinner party' and help raise funds for the New Beginnings for Youth project!  See you there!  Have a delightful weekend everyone.
