inserting images into blogs (wordpress)

One of the things in the blog admin area that's not obvious is how images are inputted to the blog posts.

• The first thing to know is the images you want to insert, need to be properly sized before you actually upload them. So in any image editing software program, make sure they are 72 dpi, and physically sized so they will fit on the blog page (i.e. 330 px by 240 px).
• Just below the area where you enter in your text, there's a box that looks like:

• In the area just beside file, hit the browse button. Go select the image on your computer you wish to include, select it and click open.

• Click the upload button
• You will then be brought to a screen as the below. Choose fullsize and none, then send to editor.

• Once in the editor, there's one last step.
• click on the picture, then on the little insert picture icon above in the editor screen. It will bring up a box (below). You should align the image to the left or right (this will insure the text will wrap around the image), plus you should set some horizontal and vertical space, so the text won't be right up against it.
• Hit the update button
